In my opinion, If he can get fit and play injury and pain free - if he's operating at 30% of the player he used to be - He's still very high up on our list of props.

Just because I disagree with you makes me a Cas fan? Unlike yourself I don’t switch between two different clubs week in week out.

He has basically had a new hip post operation.

He had a hip resurfacing op, which a lot of athletes like Andy Murray etc have had done. I personally think he’s worth a shout, he’s only 31. If a busted 34 year old Fifita who has been playing bush rugby the last 6 month can come in and dominate on the field racking up +120 metre games I’m sure George would do well.

I think that on balance, if the owners are willing to fund it, then it’s probably a low risk exercise. A bit hard to tell if it will be good value for money though - he’s only played a few games. You can’t doubt his pedigree and experience though and with that big game experience could provide leadership levels currently only coming from Dave.

Calling someone a Cas fan on here is about the biggest insult you can say. Poor form Jonh.
