Quote: Trojan Horse "I’m a massive advocate for developing youth and having a homegrown team but the reality is that Crowther main attribute is effort and fitness.
He’s not developed as he should and would at best be a squad player.
His main let down is he lacks a pair of hands and doesn’t offer a link up in plays. Passing moves which are meant to go pitch width often got to Crowther who put his nose down and drove it in. Which would be fine if he was an effective runner.
Also people say he’s good in defence but I don’t see that at all. He’s been bumped off not being strong enough in defence when I’ve watched him.
He’s one that could become a decent SL 13 over the next 5 years but his game needs alot of work vs to get there.
If he plays he will 100% get my support ofcourse but we need more at 13.'"
That's the bit I don't get. You say he can't pass and has no running game and even say he misses tackles but then say he might develop into a good 13?
In answer to the question about Proctor. He is clearly having a problem with fitness but he has a good pass and not only never misses a tackle but clear hurts opponents when he hits them.
I'd like him to do more minutes and make more yards but ultimately he is a second row playing as a middle.....and clearly, his lack of fitness is why he's at Wakefield not NRL.
I wouldn't renew but he clearly has more skills than Crowthervto me.
