Playing for a better team and one of the top coaches in S L .We got players who would look better at Hull . Good teams can 20\30% extra out of any player because of the Coach

Disagree with most. Can still perform in Superleague and if contract was for championship also would be a real asset as regards coming straight back up.
Don't get the age thing. Look at other sports and the thirty somethings still have a lot to offer. Seems ok for others in Superleague to have the Roby, Farrell, LM S etc, etc, but not us.

I agree with the age thing to a certain aspect, a lot of high calibre players playing well into their mid 30’s in both hemispheres. We do have an ageing second row though obviously. Griffin has been really good this year but how many +32 second rowers do we need.

I bet there are more players Wakefield Trinity made better than worse.

When I've seen Hull this season Griffin has been one of their best players.We need to put the idea of building a younger squad on the back burner for a while and concentrate on staying up,or failing that, coming straight back up! He has about 6 possible games left after his ban,so sign him up for that and next season.If we get our new owner and there is money to spend why not?

I'd certainly take him for the end of the season. With Kelepi out it gives us another attacking threat from second row.
He certainly busts tackles.

If it was gor next season as well then the risk is that we have quite an old back three.

Next year we have Pitts and Kalepi signed up for second row. Kalepi isn’t that old tbf. Griffin would be good till end of this season. Would give him the chance to put himself in shop window although the way Pitts and Ashurst are playing these past few games I wouldn’t drop either of them.

Guess we will see how this pans out. Who ever plays though I’ll back them.

We are asking a lot of Pitts and Ashurst to play 80 mins every game to end of season. With Proctor at prop and Kelepi injured, French guy out for ages and Windrow still learning we have no cover at second row. Hewitt was a good option but Giants have pulled him back.

I'd like us to try and sign Hewitt if we could,local lad who looked to be enjoying his stint at Trinity, simular to the Danny Kirmond scenario.
