Quote: Trojan Horse "There is absolutely no better than watching superleague in summer on a Sunday afternoon. Yesterday was glorious sunny weather and the whole stage just looks so much more than on an evening game.
For some reason last few years we have moved away from Sunday games.
The amount of children yesterday who attended with adults and parents was great to see and you just don’t get that on a Friday or Thursday night. These are our next generation of fans.
Not to mention the benefits of not having to use lighting etc.
I really hope the club moves back towards Sunday afternoon games. What are everyone’s thoughts
?
Can this even be done? Are the weekday games enforced by superleague?'"
Sundays are great and I absolutely agree about it being the best time for getting kids involved.
There are two issues., firstly, most other clubs now prefer Friday nights, which leaves a shorter turnaround if we've played on Sunday and there was always the perception that Friday's are better for the corporate sales.
