Think it’s fair to say that, barring a miracle, results this weekend have sealed our fate. We need to start planning for the Championship with a new coach not afraid to drop experienced players who aren't cutting it - LIneham, Hood, Taufua to name three - and give youngsters the opportunity to prove themselves. I don’t bag coaches - I don’t know the first thing about coaching - but Applegarth (and several players) have shown they’re not up to it. Start planning for the future now - it’ll be here sooner than we’d like!

I can’t believe anyone at the club watched that today and didn’t find it inept , embarrassing , totally unacceptable ! I would have liked some kind of statement from the club . Minards did after a bad game at Salford last year …. this today and all the season so far is a million times worse .

Never mind the directors , coaches fault these are professional paid players turning in inept performances in a regular basis . Does it really need a coach to instil passion and pride in a players performance,. I can take a loss everyday of the week if the effort was there , but yet again it was sadly lacking . We aren’t talking slick moves here , but the very basics of rugby that we can’t execute. These aren’t wet behind the ears youngsters but paid professionals who shouldn’t need to be coached to tackle and have at least decent ball handling skills and a decent skill set as the very basics , but that is exactly what we have , and it’s embarrassing . 44% completion rate is completely unacceptable at any level of RL let alone a club who supposedly is SL standard

Lineham and Hood should just be given up as a bad job but feel a bit for Taufua as he puts in some real graft for the full 80 but just doesn't have any pace. Similar problem with Ashurst today who got put into some promising positions off Lino but just can't shift up a gear these days.

OK so let's work on no relegation we will still be left with at least 7 players who just don't cut it. No relegation would not assist the rebuilding process and ensure more over the top contract would still be paid while finding money to issue new ones.
