2) there has been no constructive criticism raised as far as I can see so no need to worry.'"
He seems to be missing the point as re. 'criticism.' As do a lot of others. First of all, when football, rugby, fans of any sporting club say something like, God we are crap....clearly that's not constructive, but it's not supposed to be!! It's people venting their frustration, anger, despondency at their teams performances. You can go back to Victorian times when paying 'spectators' used to throw tomatoes at stage performers because they were unhappy with what they were seeing, having paid their hard earned to witness a 'performance.' That's just the way it is, right or wrong. He's very naïve if he thinks that fans aren't going to have a go. It's like he's created this world where, you can only speak when things are going well, just give praise, but when things go wrong, say nothing at all?!
Wakefield Trinity compared to Premier league football is obviously small fry, Spurs actually refunded the fans who travelled to Newcastle the other week because they gave a sub-standard performance. I think there has been some who have tried to be constructive at times, instead of just saying we are rubbish, but the longer the losing run goes on, how can you find ANYTHING constructive or positive to say about on field performances?! You would have to make things up just for the sake of positivity.....
