Quote PopTart="PopTart"Online marketing in the modern era is very important and been missed massively by clubs.
We've had plenty of threads on here complaining about Trinity lack of it.
So yes, I think it's an important criteria.'"
Of course it's important.
However, when you see comments that it's not the "on line traffic" but "the quality of the output", that will be measured, this becomes open to abuse.
Sorry PT but, for any criteria to work, it has to be open, transparent and easily checked and not decided by men in grey suits, in the proverbial smoke filed room.
Of course, there is plenty for us to work on without the grey areas but, again, questions have to be asked on why junior development, which is THE most important area, is not right at the top of the list.
Ultimately, we come back to anything that is decided away from the field of play, not only moves RL away from being a sport but, it also leaves any system open to conjecture and abuse.
We've been here before (under the licensing model) and that didn't end well.
