I like Applegarth as a person (or at least how he comes across). He's clearly a nice bloke and he clearly knows his rugby otherwise he wouldn't have been so highly thought of. But I cannot abide by him piacking Atoni and Proctor over other players like Sam Eseh (or even sending Butler on loan for that matter who also had a better pre-season than those two). We bring a player in on loan and don;t play him (Senior) and we also leave Bowes out (who for me is our liveliest hooker and should at least get on the bench). I can't understand some of the selections but there's also a lack of attacking structures. Isn't that the coaches job? Leigh's structures looked so much better. Only other excuse I can give him is how disrupted the spine has been but don't think Gaskell and Jowitt change much.

Leigh didnt play that well to beat us as soon as they scored our heads went down and game over the second half was merely a training exercise for them apart from lino whitbread kershaw and pitts-who should be made captain straightaway-not just a lack of effort like smiths tackling but no heart unless we get a couple of players in with something to prove like escare or corey norman and play a hooker at hooker ie bowes i cannot see us winning a single match this year weve scored 23 points in 8 games will we score a 100 for the season im almost tempted to see what paddy power has to say on it

It’s true though. You bombed a couple at least with some sloppy execution, the Briscoe pass & an unnecessary obstruction spring to mind. If you’d have been clinical you could have got 50, which speaks volumes to how poor we are because you are a very handy team but you shouldn’t be that much better.

No point twisting it to make you feel better.

At least they aren’t bringing shame and embarrassment to the Trinity colours because we decided to not use them this season after all what’s special about this one.

Nothing is going to make me feel better believe me, especially acknowledging you could have done us by even more.

I think you are maybe just a player or two away in your pack from being a real play off chance this year which for a promoted side is some going.

I thought you guys played well today. You've certainly shown us what can be achieved when you have an owner who actually cares about the club. Sadly, our current owners don't care enough to learn from others in how to run it properly or to find someone else who does.

Forgot to mention that it's clear to everyone with a set of eyeballs that the current incumbents in leadership roles are the wrong choices. One wouldn't get in a team that's going to get relegated and the other (as experienced and as good as he has been) wouldn't say boo to a goose. Pitts is the only bloke that is a leader in that side.
