I don't think Mark applegarth is out of is depth as a coach i think it's a bit more simpler than that the players are out of there depth just not good enough, it's not there fault it is what it is and now time as finally caught up with us as a club, I agree we should be putting ourselves out there more in the public eye for investment or for someone to buy the club but i fear now it's too late and the championship beckons for us now and like some have said just when we have finally got the ground getting sorted the on-field hasn't.

Must admit i was hoping i’d have calmed down today after last nights ‘efforts’. I haven’t and to be honest listening to Applegarths post match comments praising the players efforts and claiming it will all turn round wound me up even more. If he actually means that and he isn’t just saying it for the camera then i’m afraid he is deluding himself. Some players were trying more than others out there last night. And yes we have players missing but how many of those waiting to return would be in any other teams starting 13? Maybe Tanginoa but thats it. I like Max but whose first choice would he replace elsewhere? Mash spent what money we did have poorly in the winter. His decision to pick Forber over Bowes is a shocker. Why move Kay from fullback when he was going ok to throw in a young lad who had a stinker? Hewitt had been shocking sin binned for an obvious crusher last night, poor defensive effort costing us a try against Salford. I doubt Windrow would have done any worse. I didn’t agree with setting in Applegarth at the time and i still don’t think it’s the right call. But he’s got the job and I’m willing to keep the faith for a bit longer. But this next month is make or break and lose to Cas & Leigh and it’s curtains.

They are spending on things we dont need thought, did we need a big screen that cant really be seen from the North Stand? No we did not. Should we be spending circa £200k per year on Gaskell and Lineham? No and I could go on.

I think we have got to the point where we need a hard reset. I almost think relegation would be a good opportunity for that. The new stand will hopefully give us the income and put us in a good position to compete at the top end of the championship and give us a chance to rebuild our reputation. This cycle or hanging on every year and been the laughing stock of super league has to end. We need to start again and rebuild. I think both the club and fans need that

This was the one season to gamble to ensure we stay in SL because if you live in the real world Championship will almost guarantee years in the wilderness. We have no money now just think what we have to come. The powers that be decided to spend any spare cash on the ground. We are where we are, I suppose if or when it is confirmed we are relegated the football club with a bigger backer will have a nice stadium to play out of and may eventually become the bigger entity.
We are certainly doing our best to drive supporters away not just with the cost of admittance but the price of everything once in. I wonder what the prices were like in the new drinking facility.

Every SL club now has to have it's own big screen, so yes, on this issue there was no choice.
Gaskill and Lineham were already here but, both have proved to be very poor signings.
Gaskill in theory offers decent utility value but, i'd rather have Hampshire in the squad.

If we do go down we will just be another Halifax or Widnes, mid table for years.
