The team is in dire need of at least a couple of long term signings but I just can’t see it happening with its financial situation.

Whilst there is much merit in what you say we’ve had worse teams on paper that looked more threatening than this one. He’s just not getting any kind of tune out of them. Sadly he looks like a guy that has been promoted way before he was ready and we are paying the price.
