Quote: BackSeatCoach "Our gratitude to MC for his tenacity and acumen and pure energy (as well as cash injection of course) should he undoubted.
He has demonstrated to all that he is without doubt a fine company administrator. Second to none.
Whilst enormously grateful I too think his exit will pave the way for new blood and ideas, and quite possibly cash.
Some may disagree, but MC is a polarising character who may just have scared some backers away with his bedside manner let’s say.
His exit may now allow something different to happen. JM is still at the helm to provide that steadying influence, so best of luck to the board in finding MC’s replacement.'"
I get your point and I've heard that from a lot of people, though I can't say I've ever experienced it, but then I am very thick skinned.
However I don't think it was always so - up until the Chris Chester leaving era he was very open and approachable, after that less so, more guarded and less involved or so it seemed from a fans perspective. No point getting too deep but what happened to CC got to him imo and rightly so because it got really nasty. I don't know the full story but if it got to him that much, and why wouldn't it, then as you say it's possibly the right decision for us all. If your hearts no longer in it and all that.
Wouldn't surprise me that after a good long break he didn't reappear in some for, once inside you Trinity is a hard thing to let go.
Anyway, my last word on the subject, tomorrow is a new day.
