I see no reason why not.
He’s a bit like Jowitt, never given the chance to settle in one position.
Although he’s taken some stick when at hooked it will have helped his game. His distribution from 13 which is less hurried than 9 should be spot on.
Peak years ahead for both players and we are lucky to have them.

Yes, there is that, though I don't tend to wear replica shirts as much these days, only on match days. I tend to go for the polo type more, as I get more wear from them these days. Hoping they do one in the style of the away shirt.
Going to have a look in the shop later, when I start to do the dreaded deal of the christmas shopping.

Cant faul his attitude , effort and defence which makes him likeable but his attack can be somwhat lacking and a bit of a worry for me for me .jowitt to be fair played 95% of his games at fb and the difference shaul made and the amount who wanted us to sign shaul kind of says it all.that said i hope they both have best seasons of there lifes

| I think Crowther will make a cracking LF.
He was only ever a stand in hooker and did his best without being a star in that position. I agree his distribution skills, if he works a bit harder on them, are more suitable to LF role. His defence is already there.
On top of that he's Trinity through and through and that makes a difference to me.

| Jordan has had to come through quite a few knock backs in his career but Willy showed faith with him and now Mark. Whilst switching from hooker and 13 most games I thought his distribution was as good as a number 9 without the scoots, he got criticised for putting his hand up and playing out of his normal position by people on here, a position which I think is the hardest on the field. I’ve spoken to many parents who’s kids are on scholarship about the ups and downs of a young kid hoping to get to SL and the dedication required from the lads and especially their parents. Parents with lads on scholarship need to hold back with negatives about others because take it from me, their lad will get it at some time if the get to the elite level and it’s not nice but comes with the territory. This coming season will be his tenth year at Wakefield and with Mark awarding him with the vice captaincy, which makes us proud parents might I say, he hopefully can play in a position he likes the most, fingers crossed. I’m sure he’d play any position if asked if it helped Wakefield .

The amount shouting for Shaul was very much a handful of people on here. Most are very little difference in the two including the coaching team who clearly feel Jowitt is good enough to be the full back. I prefer Jowitt to Shaul who is good in organising defence but blunt in attack and a bit suspect under the bombs.

Can’t fault Jordan’s commitment and don’t think any fan would. I’m sure he bleeds RWB. I wasn’t convinced on whether he would be out long term solution at Loose a couple of years ago. That said last year did convince me that he is exactly what we need in a 13 now and in the future. He clearly developed physically this past 2 seasons and that has certainly helped his game. I also think although not a natural 9 it has helped him in his attacking/link up game and will benefit him in the 13 position. I’m really looking forward to seeing Jordan and Max hitting their best years as rugby professionals. I’m very glad it’s with trinity too. The C and VC Is a good choice.
A lot of people (including me) have some concerns over who’s coming in BUT what will make the difference in transitioning Wakefield trinity to contenders is likely more going to be influenced by players like Crowther/Jowitt/Kershaw and the like showing continual improvement in their games as years progress.

I totally agree with you and others about 2 or 3 seasons ago, but that was due to him loosing 2years of development being sent out on loan by previous coaches, that’s history and so is the coach, he can move onwards and upwards now.

I still rated him a few years ago but more as a squad option. I see him now as a starting player. Most forwards aren’t really ready for week in week out superleague till mid 20s or just before anyway. I’m just looking forward to the season in general next season and I think their will be an air of positivity about the club.
