I can’t see anything but positives in this signing. Only time will tell I suppose but I genuinely have a good feeling about this one.

Now it's been announced feels like a real positive signing. Agree with the 1 year deal comments and doesn't commit us to much if it goes wrong.

Hope he enjoys his time here and we get the best out of him. Feel like he can elevate the group and its a statement to others who might be in talks with the club.

It could be an excellent signing. There’s a degree of risk but if he comes fit and motivated he could impress in superleague.

Can't help wondering whether his problem was that he was at a club that paid him well, perhaps more than he'd get at other clubs, but was never going to win anything, so complacency set in for him. If he'd had to bust a gut at Melbourne or Roosters, he might have been top drawer for longer.

I know you could apply the same analogy with us, but he won't have to bust a gut to excel here, as the standard isn't at NRL standard.
