| Going by Twitter rumours this week we could have a pack consisting of Proctor, Lawrence, Taylor and Mago.. plenty of experience and leaders there…

One too many forwards IMO. Remember we have already signed both Bowden and Butler who were basically signed for this season, especially Bowden.
Lawrence, who knows.
Mago maybe
I'd say either not both with Taylor and Proctor.

| He's clearly talented but what I think we need from him is his captaincy.

| Seems to me that Proctor is a step in the right direction for quality and to bring the young forwards on.
OK, so he's no spring chicken but neither is Chris Hill who's currently playing for England!

It's a very simple equation for me.
So long as he has no long term or chronic injuries, age means nothing. Sure he'll be a bit slower but then SL is a bit slower we are all told.
If he comes with the right attitude, he's pure class and will help transform our pack. It's up to Mash if he thinks he can get the best from him, it's what we pay him for.

| Proctor has been a sensational player, 280 NRL appearances and 22 for the kiwis up until a couple of years ago. He’s played at a level that no one has played at for the club in the last 30 years. Even if he plays at 75% of his capability he’ll be class and also great for the young forwards coming through. Really need leadership this year

| I'm not sure leadership is a quality I'd associate with Proctor, certainly off the pitch. I watch alot of the NRL and he has neen absolutely terrible since the last few years a real lack of effort when on the pitch. May do better in SL, but I'd be really concerned about this signing particularly at 34 on a 2 year deal.
I don't see the Westerman comparison either, he was excellent for Hull before he signed for Wakey, it was a mistake not to keep him.

I may be wrong but he will be the most decorated player in SL next season if true.
Class is permanent, if he wants to play he will be sensational.

Thanks for your concern, if you are as accurate as you've been in the past, and let's face it you have a downer on almost every player we sign, I expect us to win SL with Proctor MOS.
Because Westerman had a bad off field reputation, certainly in the Wakefield area, some fair, some not. Due to this IMHO he never got close to reaching his true potential with any of the clubs he played for.
Yet as if to prove my point, he did ok for us, so why not Proctor, oh that's right it's not Hull
TBH, I'm not sure it's anything other than a made up story, but I wouldn't mind it being true.

I agree.
He has more test caps than both Solomona and Lauiti'iti and has won a four nations and a Grand Final.
He's not young but he's the same age Ali was when he came.

What are you talking about, which Wakey signings have I had a downer on?
If you are happy, fair enough, let's see how he goes, but this reminds me of us signing Josh Reynolds.
