Well the blokes just guessing isn't he, he isn't Linos agent, I'm not sure if he's gaskells? Although he does represent most SL players, you would assume doing the job he does he has a good idea of what a lot of players earn, if I was him though I'd stay away from speculating on players salaries all together but it was basically in context of saying we have 2 high earners there so they have gone for a cheaper option in Smith (he obviously knows what Smith earns as he is his agent) Not sure how to link from mobile mate as I use the app.

Interestingly he started talking about us taking the cheap option with Applegarth as well, saying we would be paying 70/80k rather than paying 150 for an aussie.

The only people who should know a player's salary are the player, the club and I suppose the agent. If the agent is passing this information on then he's way out of order.

Going off experience, I would say £100k a year, given the calibre of player, I would say is a little excessive.

However, I think £50k a year, would be inaccurate too.

Given the fact that he's come from a cash rich club, he would have been on a decent contract. I think maybe £60-70k would be more accurate. Also, an average salary, based on the cap, abd a squad of 30, would allude to a similar figure.

It looks like guy is minted as he has at least 4 contracts, 1 for £100k, 1 for £100k over two years, 1 for £80k and 1 for £50.
