If you take a look at a lot of football pitched they nearly all slope down at the sides, it's very common.
This is Old Trafford, surprised me first time I saw it a few years back.
'"
If you remember, just before the last World Cup Final the Aussies whinged about the drop-offs at Old Trafford, stating they were unsafe, as they come straight after a shallow in-goal. Lo and behold, they had a couple of high leapers dropping a lot further than they realised during the match, something I've never seen during a Grand Final (I suspect that is why they go for the grubbers rather than the high balls).
I assume the North South refurb will take that into account. The away fans on the West Terrace will just have to bring a set of steps with them.

| Quote: Scarlet Pimpernell "The problem this time it was a full inspection of our processes and did not just involve the H&S but many other bodies were represented I believe. I would suggest the sudden reduction in numbers would indicate we did not do too well based on the speed it was implemented.'"
I note that our oracle on all things Wakefield Vastman said this was wrong. I wait his justification for this one word reply because as per usual nothing to back his statement only his belief in his own superiority and eagerness to defend the club’s administration.

Said what was wrong? Talking in riddles as ever.

| Also spotted a new, considerably larger rain-fall collection silo being installed.
It's between the covered section of the West Terrace and the toilet block (which I think someone said is now the wrestle room.

Yep that's what it is, we are also hoping to drill a bore hole to fill it as we are not to far off the water table, that should save us a few bob.

Also noticed all the demolition plant/machinery has been removed off site, making the place look spacious. What I thought might be there now are the on site silos type cement mixers normally seen on large building sites, removing the need for transportation of cement trucks by road. Not sure how much cement will be required but I’m sure it’s quite a lot.
