Very disappointed by the loss of aydin and Batch who are both waki lads but it happens and I would like to think the club has a plan and the younger guys such as Eseh can fill the gap left behind in the not too distant future. Just out of curiosity would most people be ok with losing Batch and Aydin if say Murphy and Hall can get long term extensions and the thought of Eseh / Shaw getting more game time'"
That is exactly how it is!
It's a fine line balancing the budget...I liken it to selecting a dream team at either football or rugby...you start with a big pot....pick some quality players then before you know it you've hardly got any of your money left and still have about 4-5 players to fit in so have to go back and lower your sights a little...
Aydin is an improving player but he's well down the pecking order and the people who control the budget can only assign so much to each player...Hall and Murphy should be the two big priorities to tie down to longer contracts as they are both players you can see attracting plenty of interest from many clubs in the coming seasons...if keeping those two with much improved terms means having to let Aydin go then I can live with that decision. I'm also not that sure he'll get more first team opportunities there than if he'd have stayed...we'll have to wait and see...
