I would have liked Aydin to stay as he was improving gradually with the more matches he was getting.Whether he turns out to be a top prop, who knows, but Yusuf has made his decision.

From what I've been told there was no real difference between the two offers financially, he's apparently a bit peeved about his lack of game time this year and Poching hasn't given him any indication he'll be a regular next season either.

Now I rate Aydin, and definitely think he has the potential to go on and have a good career. But even at this stage I don't think he's ready for a regular spot. In my opinion have handled his progression well, a drip feed of games and he improves every time we see him. If he's wanting to play week in week out he'll need to hit the ground running at Rovers, and I just hope for his sake he hasn't made the wrong call. Their expectations will be higher than for a similar aged player coming through the ranks.

Firstly many congratulations on securing your Super League status much deserved and I an pleased that a historic and proud club like yourselves has yet again defied predictions and in the end with a bit to spare.

I'm disappointed you feel the way you do about my club Hull Kingston Rovers I certainly don't feel that way about you.

All in all the KR supporters I have meet over the years have been pretty decent.

I remember attending a cup quarter final at Belle Vue in 1974 (?) v HKR … I was scared shirtless …. But I was only a young teenager..


Always been a bit wary of Rovers since… although I did go away to the old and current stadiums on more than one occasion

I've never had a problem with a Hull KR supporter and been going there since 1980.
Their ground now is just right for their club. I like going there.
