What’s the rush in signing players , I really don’t get it .Or do we jump in and grab the first available and rue the decision later , or do we take our time and mull over available players so we get a good player at a good price who fits into the teams ethos ,or get stung again and we go down the Lineham route , and get a poor signing and give him 3 years .Personally I’d leave a few overseas places spare and see if we can’t snare a few after the World Cup . Poching has got us safe , now afford him some time to build a team before berating him and his plans .

Funnily enough, although not funny, I overheard someone in front of me at the game on the Thursday, and they mentioned this, and the change is going ahead, but we’re not going to be in tier 1, and therefore our signings won’t be anyone major.

We've lost 7 players.
2 retired, one going home, ones been injured forever, one is complained about more than any other player, one played a couple of games this year and went out on loan....and one is a great prospect who just wanted a change (and money)

These departures though, and the way players have announced it first is a bit strange to departures from the past.

Dave we tried to keep, and get his brother. Both Willie and Dave have said that.
Tom of course it would be good to keep but we have a pretty good replacement and we need to have players on the field.

So it doesn't strike me that the club is trying to reduce things. Most are just timing for those players.

Miller is the only one I have any kind of grievance with, as he's going to Cas. He must know that's a big deal to Wakefield fans. So although he of course needs to look after his family, if he goes to Cas, his reception at Belle Vue isn't going to be good.....whereas I think Tom will get a great reception.

Pop Tart think most fans know T J leaving Wakefield is the best for him playing for us as held him back big time .Think been at a club with a bigger squad should keep T J fitter .You can not say he as not given a lot to Wakefield .Miller going to Cas not to botherd give a lot to the club and as loads of undeserved stick from fans
