We 100% need a new 9, no question. No offence to Hood as he gives 100% but he's not got the running game the modern game needs from a hooker. It's probably the most important position on the pitch from an attacking perspective, whether that's a running game or distribution. If that first pass is slightly behind, above, in front of Miller / Lino the whole move falls apart. I know Crowther isn't a natural 9 so I'm not blaming him but our distribution / passing yesterday when attacking the Hull line was woeful for a professional SL side.

No PT that's total self awareness. You've never got Vastman have you. I the author knows exactly what Vastman is and why he does what he does, he's a construct or a character, you chose, not a real person. It's the oldest trick in the book, most newspapers have these creations, Black Dog in the Mail as an example, though clearly I'm not suggesting old Vasty is that exulted.
