High tackles in front of Grant ignored. Gaskell got shoved off the ball and flew a mile completely ignored by the linesman 3 yards away.

I’m all for mistakes but these were absolutely diabolical misses.

Catalans are laying on for 4-5 seconds and flopping constantly and refs just allowing it.

Hope we don’t see Grant ref another game Cas trinity because this is woeful.

We also need to sort our right side defence out. Why he loved Batchelor from the right SR to LF I don’t know but we haven’t numbered up well or pushed out well on that right edge at all.

We reverted to type when Shaul dropped the kick from there 1st set and then Gaskell or Ashurst gave them free ride with a head shot on there 1st set after the restart. 0-12 after 5 minutes.

Fundamentally Catalans are a much more organised side so even with the missing personnel are still better than us. Notwithstanding that, they are the most cynical team I've watched this year
