Bowden did look good when he came on. Miller got stuck in, took the line on and put some big hits in. Shaul is a quality player.
If we stop up I'd like to see us sign Tumivave.

I don’t. I think collectively it was an incredible performance by the squad but there were individuals who could’ve done better. Battye was one of them, he hasn’t been “good” for us in a long time but that’s not to say he was bad last night, just ok imo.

Happy with Shaul, I’d imagine for a one club man to make a loan move to a team struggling at the bottom of the table it’d be tough to motivate yourself but think he’s made a real impact.

Trinity’s turn around in form has coincided with Shaul’s arrival. He’s still got some pace with ball in hand aswell. Good signing. Make it permanent along with Bowden….

he only did 25 mins but he did 11 tackles and only missed one, 5 drives was a low count but I was impressed that he made zero errors now that is something to praise him with at least, he was quick to compliment the tackling player that Fafita picked up the lose ball and scored from, that's the difference between a super league standard and championship player the vision to capitalize from errors

surprised he came but pleased he did, yes he has had a difference, change does most times like dropping Battye it made him think about his game

I've always liked him, i also thought Bowden showed up well, and looks a better long term solution than Butler has so far.

Butler has age on his side so an off season may help, but short term Bowden is clearly better.

Be interesting to see how they both show up against Hull.

Especially pleasing that Cas were also interested in Shaul but we got him.
