Butler has been okay. He has been solid nothing more. It’s clear that Butler needs to work on his fitness and get on the weights but I think the time to judge him will be after a full pre season or a string of games. I don’t see what he has to do with Aydin being allowed to go on loan though.
Aydin I would put about on par with Butler as 5/6th choice props presently. The one thing I do like about Aydin is his aggressive and niggly streak he has.
I wouldn’t read too much into this loan. Leeds are short of props, we have an excess few available. It also works in our interest that Leeds have a stronger line up vs Toulouse available.
Personally I’m 50/50 on Aydin st this point. Im much more excited about seeing Eseh develop.
