Completely agree. Thought he had a good game. The problem is, half the people making comments about Butler don’t know their a*se from their elbow when talking about RL! The poor lads career took a huge hit due to Covid and he hasn’t been given the game time or opportunities to get back on track. He played in the England knights squad at 21 after his first season in SL. There’s no way his career peaked there. Reckon he will prove to be solid signing next year.

Hall has been good, Whitbread decent and it’s too early to say on Evans but overall i’d say it’s a mixed set to be honest.

Let’s just see how he gets on, can’t bag a player before he’s even put on the shirt. Remember people slagging Ben Cockayne off saying he’s a reprobate (partly true) he’s not good enough. Ended up in the England train on squad that year with us. Same applies to Westerman, give the lad a chance ffs.
