| It really wouldn’t be a surprise if we don’t get the funding. The people the club have to deal with aren’t exactly known for being true to their word. Feel for MC and JM on this as they have worked so hard to get this over the line. I would have thought if the work was starting in 6 weeks then there would have been sone kind of communication from the club with a big push to promote the game against Wigan

Now that's just crazy talk! Be thankful we get a social media post detailing the kick off date and time.

| Well if its not true then its a pretty easy rumour to shoot down. I had heard there had been some ‘issues’ around the development, i took this to mean the problems re-siting the main stand occupants. Could it was something else i guess.
Anyhow i’d be delaying the demolition of the stand until after the last home game anyway. In our current predicament we need all the help we can get. I’m not sure one less noisy covered stand and likely less match attendees is going to be beneficial.

There is a lot of experience throughout that team and especially on the bench.I think before the season started I would have said we had a better team, but I think much closer now.The point being though,is that they are playing quite well, and we aren't.'"
What happened to the overseas Quata rules ?

Why would an announcement like this be made, by a man like JM, with all his experience if it wasn't in place?

| Exactly 1315.What's slightly worrying is that the club could quash these rumours stone dead, but nothing is coming from them.Odd.

| Quote vastman="vastman"It’s baffling to me how you have selective memories
Clearly you’ve forgotten Glover. Clearly you’ve forgotten two top 8 finishes in the last five years.
Are you so xxxx that you don’t realise that to build a basket case club back up with a rebuilt stadium and a rebuilt club off the pitch.
Do you honestly think we could have carried on as we were.
Sacrifices have to be made and if that means potential relegation then so be it. Because what keyboard warriors like you don’t seem to grasp is that relegation was inevitable anyway.
For heavens sake look at BV, look at it with open eyes. It’s light years behind and it been like that for decades.=#FF0000 The only club near us is Cas but for whatever reason they get more support than they technically should do.
We have been on borrowed time since 1979 on the field and forever off it. How we are still on SL baffles me. Very little of this is MC’s fault.
Finally the on field performances are down to the team, stop taking utter rot.
Edited: No need Vasty'"
Haven't been on for a while so this may have been discussed already. I just wonder if the admission prices could be one of the reasons for the low attendances. I was shocked when we visited Belle Vue this season to be charged £20 for a pre bought concession when its £14 at Cas. Even worse was the walkk up price for a concession was £25. The Cas policy seems to be to entice people in with the admission price and then make their money on large sales of refreshments and official club clothing. Would it be worth a try?
