Quote: lampyboy "The clubs a shambles and if the present rumours are true the club must take full responsibility for the contract situation.
You do know that contracts are agreed by both parties don't you?
I have no idea if the club concider any of the present players involved as major key players, but if they do why wasn't contract extentions offered at the start of the season. I would also say that if you don't consider the captain of the club and major playmaker a key player somethings wrong.
As above how do you know contracts have not been offered these can extremely private and long negotiations for a club and a player to agree as well as players having other options on the table.
Wakefield start every season on the back foot mainly because of the poor showing in the transfer market.
Batch I would imagine must be a money thing because HKR will not be much better than Trin providing Trinity can stay up.
It could be money it could be that he has been given better opportunities to play . At Wakefield I rate Batch but he has had his injuries and he competes in an area where we have similar players.
A club with no ambition or any intention of improvements sends the wrong message to the players and fans, loyal players become frustrated resulting in wanting away.
Change in attitude and directions needed, but I'm willing to bet nothing will change
Why not just sit back and see what develops in respect of players coming and players going.
Just what are your intentions for the club Mr Carter.'"
I do not think he has to be accountable to this forum do you?
My take on things is TJ has been loyal as have we to him, for a low budget club we need more appearances, Back row forwards we have a dearth at the moment, Miller I will be sad to see go although many fans have slaughtered him over the past seasons. Both he and TJ can leave the club with their heads held high as can Batch.
Others off contract will show we have some top earners leaving so who knows what the plan is for the club but your last point will be answered I suspect shortly.
