Quote: TimmySmith "Don’t get that group of youths that stand in the northstand, head to toe in Stone Island that do this sorta stuff. Too many trying to adopt a football like hooliganism.'"
They need some guidance - they want to be a group of 'ultras' and get an atmosphere going but carried away sometimes. Probably watched Green Street too many times but they are only young. If anyone actually squared up to them they'd likely melt away double lively. Believe some slaps were dished out at Saints away but not sure on the circumstances - great cries of victimhood initially but not sure on this.
There's a horrible divide between our supporters at the moment. Not helped the Chester in/out argument dragging on two years but fundamentally it seems to be between older and young groups. Like I say sometimes the youngsters are out of order but then you get the knitting circle bursting beach balls etc and wondering why there is a negative reaction. Pretty depressing visit to BV at the moment for me because of that. The club belongs to everyone and needs its younger supporters to keep coming, theres a lot of choice out there on what they could spend their money on so we shouldn't be driving them away.
