Yeah i'm not sure about Hall as to when he was signed, but like you say he certainly has stepped up to the mark, but he's British so my point was about Langi. If he had come, then Whitbread wouldn't be here?? He's the only overseas player we signed, I assume the Army bloke is British? Better give it a rest now as re. lack of props! We have what we have, it wouldn't surprise me though if we won 2 out of the next 3 then lost 6 on the bounce, it seems to be that kind of season maybe......

I agree, he's been ok and has done as much as I expected. He was good at Warrington, but that's the point, all our forwards looked good there, Arona was offloading, Ashurst looked like his old-self, but was that because they weren't great, and haven't been all season??

Although I broadly agree now that we are possibly a few forwards light (hands up I thought we were ok), this largely unchanged pack still managed to get WP six wins last year.
My point is that the rest of SL has not changed that much that they can't do it again. I accept we are weak upfront compared to what we were a few years back but not so weak that we can't compete, nothing has changed that much in ten-month.
We just need to get back to basics and we will win games again.

Well hopefully you're right, 'cause if we did lose the next 2, especially against Tolouse, confidence would be rock bottom and it would be squeaky bum time.....again.....

Sorry, I didn't mean to give the impression that I think we will win six more games, I've not much confidence myself at present. What I meant was technically even with the pack we have we should be able to compete as indeed we were up until Cas. Why we no longer are is a concern.
I'm afraid that it will be tight even if we do beat Toulouse and Salford unless WP can pull a rabbit from the hat.
One thing, I'm normally not a fan of resting over two weeks but in this case, it's almost certainly a blessing for us. Gainst Hudds we stopped the freefall even if we didn't win, now we have time to re-group, without this I think we may have been stuffed.
