That's the million doller question.
Injured or dropped?
Either way he's come back on fire.
Also noted he took on the kicking roll again.

| Everything in the way he's come back into the team suggests he was injured...
All the regular updates before he came back about getting fitness back, doing more running etc...then he made his comeback and first time out looked pretty rusty, then against Toulousse put in a great shift and controlled the game and got motm!
Was great yesterday and again was motm by quite a way and showing he's back to 100% with the couple of games under his belt and resuming kicking duties showing what a fantastic goalkicker he is,,,a huge asset.
I've not seen any sign whatsoever that he's unhappy, or was dropped? Just an important player given the time to come into the side when 100% fit. Hopefully we've learned our lessons from previous seasons bringing players back and playing them when not right. We've assembled what looks a decent squad and already, even though early results didn't go our way, have proved that if needed we've plenty of cover that can come in and do a job.

| Personally only heard positive things regarding Mason, never causes any trouble around the club apparently.
Think he injured his calf in pre season. He might have made those comments in the boozer as a wind up.
Anyway he was rusty vs Toulouse but he got us home and was quality yesterday. Those jinking runs reminded me of watching rugby in the early 90's as a youngster.
Have to say the forward pack dominated which gave Mason the platform to do his thing. The pack looked really good and fit, good signs for the rest of the season.

| Some people have the memory recollection of amnesic goldfish.
He's been here an entire ******* season, looked like a class act from game 1 if a little rusty but improved all season, didn't miss a kick for ions, scored plenty of solo's besides the multitude of assists in a team that wasn't always as supportive as it could have been.
Its early days contractually but I see a battle looming to keep him tbh.

News from the camp was that he'd had a leg injury which coincided with Max doing the kicking, I'd prefer to believe the official line than that of somebody who'd heard from somebody else that they'd overheard he didn't want to stay, and I don't include dboy in all that.

Certainly tightened up at Trin under WP, I’m finding it very difficult these days to get any reliable team info. Used to be a doddle.'"
I’ve just had some very reliable info. Lino has never asked for a release and is happy at the club.
Up to you if you believe me.

| Funny how with only a few games under his belt people were on his case and calling for his head .Can think of at least two big clubs that would have him in a heartbeat (wires/Leeds) .With our pack and Lino/Miller bringing the backs into the Frey ,I’m feeling a lot more positive than I have for a fare few years

It’s early days but the last time I enjoyed watching a team as much as these guys was 2004… that was a season where we would pull away from the opposition in the last 20 because we we so fit!

W P and the Coaching staff look to be doing a great job .We are playing expansive rugby ,defending well .Players like J C., Batch, look as though they have got a nother string to there bow.,there is great improvement in all the squad .W P does not put a player on the pitch unless he is 99% fit and it is paying of .Miller and Lino are beginning to jell big time Hood is making the spine stronger .Not saying we will be challenging for honours but with the display against Wires .think we will be in most games.Beginning to enjoy watching Wakefield again instead of i watch Wakefield because I am a supporter
