Hi coming to the game on sunday via train into westgate , is the stadium a walkable distance from there and are there any decent pubs on the way ??

On pre season form would have to be Brad Walker. He seems to work reasonably well with Miller too.

Hopefully Lino is fit though but not worth risking him if not.

By who?

Westgate will bring you right into the City Centre, probably a 20 minute walk down to the ground or walk to the bus station and jump on the 189 bus. Takes you down Doncaster Road and can get off just outside the ground.

Plenty of pubs about, The Black Horse/Henry Boons are probably closest to the station.

It's about a 20/30 minute walk but you can call in to a number of pubs on the way. If you walk through town head towards Fernando's which is a good pub then a 10 minute walk to Ruddy Duck (average pub at best but it breaks up the walk) and then the Con Club another 10 mins walk next to the ground.

Walker deserves the chance for me

He does if it's true, but so far this is a chip shop rumour, not saying it isn't so but we all seem very keen to believe it.

If Lino is not ready I think either Walker or Gaskell is fine... we need to put Hull on the back foot to give the halves room to work... lifting our aggression and intensity considerably from the trial games

Nothing against Walker but for me if Lino is a no show it’s Gaskell if only for his big match experience , we really could do with getting off to a winner especially at home and in front of a partisan crowd ,and will set us up nicely for the next few tough fixtures

Get off at Westgate. Have a pint (or two) in Harry's bar. Have a pint in The Hop. Have a pint in Fernandes. Walk up to the ground from Fernandes. Walk straight from the station is about 25 minutes. Having a few scoops you will need about two hours.
