I don’t know how long the delivery plan will take

A set of Planning Obligations are proposed to be included within a legal agreement Under Section 106 of the Act which would be signed by both Spirit of 1873 (The Club) and Newmarket Lane Ltd and would require the £8.8m contribution to be made within 1 week of the approval of a Delivery Plan for the stadium improvement project. A further (negatively framed) planning obligation would bar Newmarket Lane Ltd from commencing the warehouse development until both the approval of the Delivery Plan and the payment of the contribution.

Well this is great news.
I was thinking we'd never see this day.

I know there are a few more steps to go but I've never been more confident that we'll a stadium we deserve.

Is Feb still the start date for the improvements to begin ?

JM has recently said some work will start February, mainly underground. (I would imagine this is electrical, drains etc) we should see bulldozers on site mid April, it’s a 12 month build,

I’m pleased for the club and supporters thanks to mc and jm for there hard work but I’m not changing my mind over the deal with yc they’ve pood on us from a great height it will be Never forgotten not now not ever !!!

We know that we all know that, you keep telling us but it makes no difference so what's the point?

Not going to celebrate until the damn thing is built and we move on from this ridiculous saga.

Give it a rest, for once in your life why not congratulate those who have fought so hard, in this case, JM and a few others rather than constantly moan. Just a thought.

Great news. Don’t think it was likely not to get passed but an important milestone non the less.

I’m close friends with someone on the PM team looking after this project and I’m aware the club have been discussing this with a contractor for some time who are keen and he assures me the financial side is now under control.
