Some of the tries he scored in the YouTube clips were similar to what Tommy Johnstone has scored for us. Out jumping the opposition to score in the corner and beating the opposition for pace along the touchline. He could turn out to be an astute signing, someone has been keeping an eye on him.

Supposedly more a centre than a winger but looks very accomplished out wide. Obviously, on these highlight videos, you see the best, his defence might be shocking but you'd assume the caching staff check that out.

I've watched a few highlights now.
You can't doubt he's got speed and try scoring ability.

I'd be happy with him at the club.

To be fair Vastman, Tommy's defence is not the best and he's done OK for us.

Think you've missed the point a bit.

What I'm saying is that you rarely see defensive highlights on these videos, so we don't know if he can defend, I have no idea myself, he could be brilliant.

Also don't agree about TJ, sorry but I think his defence is fine, it's a bit of a myth built up IMHO, tall poppy syndrome. His defence is not what sets him apart obviously but it's always been fit for purpose.
