Quote: vastman "He’s a quality young player. We are incredibly lucky to have found such a young prop with such a mature head.
If this lad stays fit he’s an international in the making. We won’t need an NRL prop to build a pack around.
There is so much young talent at Trinity at the moment it’s staggering.
Here is a list of those I think could make it, not saying they will but they might. In order of quality from what I’ve seen.
Aydin
Murphy
O’Donovan
Eseh
Greensmith
Bowes
Ruan
Windrow
Butterworth
I’ve lost track of Bailey and how he’s doing at Newcastle.
In truth I could add a few more to that list.
In any normal season the list would be two or three max, some years none!
Truth is there are too many in that list to all get through, it’s not a talent issue it’s a balance issue.
All the same it’s a record crop of talent and I just hope it’s not wasted. I’d hope to see at least four or five of those lads as regulars by 2023.'"
He is already an international…for Turkey, played against Malta over in Australia a couple of years back.
I just think with him and some of the others coming through we need to be patient and not build them up too much. I think the club is doing a great job with him just slowly bringing him through and exposing him to first team rugby at a realistic pace. I think the loan spell at York did him the world of good too even though it was only brief.
I’d say longer term he is an ideal replacement for Arona.
I think his best position will probably be as a 13 playing as an extra middle forward.
Hard work beats talent 90% of the time and he certainly has the ability and work ethic to have a good career in SL.
