That’s not how I remember it. The club was in free fall at the time, all he asked was permission to speak to them. This was denied without a compensation clause.
You may wish to denounce him but frankly I think it stunk. The club was going under and JK would have been out of a job anyway. Yet despite all he’d done for the club the management at the time couldn’t resist trying to squeeze a few more quid out of the bloke.
Contrast the to CC treatment and I know who got the better deal and why the other may feel aggrieved. I’d be amazed if JK came back, I wouldn’t if I were him, but strangers things have happened.
