I think many people will decide to pick their games next season rather than pay up front for the season ticket, which will cost the club "upfront" income and match day income throughout the season.

I said on another thread I am definitely not renewing after over thirty five years if nothing is changed. I can’t even be bothered to go to the Wire game knowing the result, 12-36 or similar.

Realistically Chris won't get another job elsewhere. So he's not going to walk for free. That's probably why some of the responsibility for our predicament has to lie with those above. 99.9% of the things they do are for the benefit of the club the they do ten fold better than I could ever dream of doing. But this one is an error of judgement. A new 2 year deal would be a huge own goal
