So him picking Walker to do a job at 9 instead of starting with Eaves or some other solution was just complete luck. Despite the fact that Brad Walker has NEVER played at 9. Chester sat in his office and just randomly picked him out of all the remaining players and got lucky. Why bother watching training at all. Just pick players out of a hat. Can’t, just for once, he get credit for getting a big call right?

I can't remember any of the forum coaches suggesting Walker when the other hookers were fit either.
If it's Chester's fault when it goes wrong, why not his credit when it goes right?

I think our coaching issue for next year needs to be sorted sooner rather than later, whether it be Chester or not. I’m sure Radders at Cas will be having a say in who they sign for next year as will Powell at Wire and even Fitzgibbon at the Sharks. Every coach has there own style hence why Fifita is back in the Sharks team. Sort who’s coaching us first before any player discussions surely??

I genuinely don’t know who we’re talking to, surely if we’re talking to players it’ll be for this season to help cement our place for next season. As a player You wouldn’t sign for a club for next season with the possibility of them going down thus making your contract nil and void and other clubs either up to the cap or not needing you. It’s a tough buisness
