| A lot on this forum are putting the blame on Chris Chester's coaching, or the lack of it, this is probably so, but as he said in his post match interview
we lack quality. This is down to Michael Carter who won't spend money on quality players, the coach can only do so much with what he's got, so unless we speculate we will always be at risk of relegation.

| Your both on dodgy ground, but I do agree.
MC did a great job in the early days but the lack of money and the constant refusal to take the occasional gamble doesn't exactly show a club with any kind of ambition.
Regarding Chester he's definitely the clubs choice, he will battle on in the knowledge that the jobs his because almost certainly any replacement would be asking about budgets.
The money things becoming very tiresome if MC would be prepared to consontrate on brining more spectators through the turnstiles he may find that a major signing could well be self financing.
I also think when he makes comments like I WISH I COULD HAVE EARN THAT SORT OF MONEY AT THAT AGE it doesn't exactly help to gel the player in question.
I hope Chester can turn things round but if he does I can not help but think we will be in the same situation next season.
The club must make take a total change of direction if it wants people to turn up and support them.
It could be that they think the new stadium may assist them in achieving better attendances but without a team thats at least in with a shout and not relegation candidates it just won't happen.

Get real, what money! What planet are you on, you and a few others on here need to learn basic mathematics. I despair at the stupidity on here at times. Sorry if that offends but this post is beyond daft.

| In fairness to MC he cant spend what he hasnt got or rather the club hasnt got .as unhappy and as worried as i am about relegation i dont think its good to spend what you aint got and we have seen where that a led us before .
And this is where i can also feel for cc in a little way but on daying that and as i said before some of the clubs recuritment as been really poor.even for the money there will be better players out there.also using playing budget on an extra coach is baffeling.

Again, its down to him to make sure that the money is there to spend, the buisness needs to generate the money and it his responsibility, its fairly simple.
If a top company's revenues started to dry up would they say we can only work with what we have or would they do what they are supposed to do and go out and get the money/find new ways
