I see it this way - if he a crock and it proves a bad move, what have we lost? were not paying the majority of his wage by the sound of it and we'd be gaining by not paying Tangata.
If he is a hit then what a player to have, and I agree, it would probably give Dave a boost and kick him on!

He’s struggled with a knee injury but Andrew is still a tremendous prop forward

He’s done it at every level too, so much experience and still class

Truly excellent news if true and just what we need at the mo

He is what we have been asking for a rugged prop who takes the ball in and when he tackles someone they know about it. I know he is only one player but we currently need all the help we can get. I am sure if it was announced on the team bus the club realises it is something the squad needed to boost what must be a fairly demoralised bunch with our results over a long period.

Wow possibly one of the best if not the best front rower possibly coming in and we still have negative elements. Put AF in the team all day long get a hooker as well or give Bowes some game time and we will be a different animal.
