| I didn’t think Brough did too bad up until the injury he had. Man of the Match against Catalans, with an excellent performance against Leeds and Salford. We did probably rely on him too much though and playing every game at 35+ was always going to lead to a few injuries. He just seemed off the pace when he came back and never recovered. As people have stated we have a problem at hooker but for me it’s the lack of go forward and non existent line speed that is constantly leading to us being on the back foot that worries me the most! Our forwards just seem easy beats bar 2/3 of them.

| Quote vastman="vastman"Really, found his way to the line against Leeds with some speed. Like so many Trinity players fans seen to have selective memories.
Of course he was slower second time but he was hardly a cripple so I don’t agree I’m afraid. As signings go he was one of the better recent ones.'"
Not a cripple but how many times did he play during his two year deal.

| Seem to remember Brough was well up in the man of steel ratings and also League Express player of year first season back. Was playing well, then injury struck and it was downhill from there.

Every game until his injury, 24 games in total, most 2019 I believe, hardly a crock was he. You really should check things out.
It's very simple, Brough would have been a very decent signing had it been a 1-year deal.
Age did for him as it did for Finn. Finn was the first choice then suddenly his legs totally gave in and three games later he was done. Brough got a moderate injury that he just couldn't get back from, one that he'd have previously had easily recovered from.
Brough gave us one good season. There is no risk in signing older players, the error was the contract length as I believe MC has admitted to.

| Shaun Wane has announced that he wants to return to club coaching after the world cup.He seems to be the sort of man that would enjoy a challenge and I believe his appointment would be self financing after the first year. Should we start crowd funding now ?

I think that way cause I'm a pretty good judge of how someone is performing, why else would I think that way.

Then most coaches fail at that.

Yes, but not as consistently and for so long with one club as Chester.

That would be true if it were not rubbish.
Not all clubs are equal are they Scarlet, or do you seriously think that if Lamb had joined us and not Wigan we'd be champions?
