| The experts on here on rugby league make me howl, he would be a quality acquisition. Listening to some we should be signing half the NRL. Don’t want to burst anybody’s bubble but we are the poorest club in super league, let’s be grateful we can get Somebody of his class. Whoever we sign there’s always someone who disses it.

No we don't, if anything, and if any come available, I would say one more prop, so we are less likely to play Kelepi there

The answer to that IMO is YES but I do get the NO. We may not need him now but who knows. However in this case you also get a winger and an emergency stand off, that's a lot of bang for your buck.
The big YES though in my opinion is that we need quality. There is no doubt Stanley was a quality player when he signed for Toronto fo megabucks. If we'd have signed him at the time we'd have wet ourselves. Even now he would count as one of the few genuine NRL quality players we would have at the club. Admittedly that was two years ago and his reputation was built a bit before that but there is no real reason to think he still can't play a bit.
CC says he wants to add quality, well there isn't much of that about, so you take what you can get. He could flop, he could have a blinder, it's always a gamble.
Personally, I can't see it happening, to be honest, I'm not sure there is the will on either side.

No, definitely not.
Glad we signed Battye, but do feel we could do with one more prop. Green is still with us, but did not look interested last year , and when Fifita did play last year, looked a long way short of the form he showed back in 2018.
It is just finding the right prop for us at the right price, and they’re not always easy to find, it could well be a case of part way through the season if there is someone who isn’t getting game time

Interesting, I thought when Green managed to get on the field last year he looked one of our better forwards.
I think with BJB going we definitely look a little bit weaker in the outside backs, one injury away on the wing from not looking great, when I saw this I thought they would be looking at moving Tupou of Lyne out to the wing - I`m not convinced by Kay at this level tbh but hoping that he proves me wrong if he gets the shirt.
I do agree re the prop though, my wish would be a cannon ball type prop to compliment what we already have, as we keep saying though there doesn't look to be much available in he market atm!

It's not interesting, only a few posters think this and one of those is NGBFC and the other is the poster, so make of that what you will.
He definitely was our best prop at the end of 2019 but was clearly suffering an injury in 2020 which limited his appearances. Assuming he's fit it's great to have him on board.
