When you’re a Doctor or a nurse or even a teacher you’re pay packet tends to reflect the risk, you know what you signed up for.

When you’re a Porter or a teaching assistant or a supermarket worker on £10 per hour it’s not reflected in your pay and it almost certainly isn’t what you signed up for.

I’m sure the majority of doctors and nurse have done a cracking job but the true hero’s of this epidemic are the support staff.

Most would be well within there rights to say no thanks it’s not my problem.

My wife is one of those. Whilst the bosses of a well known academy have been hiding in their bunkers at home she’s not missed a day. Not once in that time have the top brass made a visit to show support. Instead they have just sat there virtue signalling about the importance of keeping schools open - though obviously at no risk to themselves. Teachers have had some support but as ever the plebs have had none.

So I’m delighted this reward went to someone who deserved it rather than to some fat cat who doesn’t.

He can’t have lost his hat, it was nailed on. Bazzo is as daft as me regarding following clubs, he even has a soft spot for Stranraer FC

and strangely enough since he told me this many moons ago I check their results at times

he's got relatives up there in Stranraer and used to visit them

That poor relative, moved all the way up to Stranraer to get away from him and Bazzo goes and finds him

With regards the topic and covid issues and while there are more bigger issues the virus is causing health wise think somthing whichmay go under the radar is the affect it is having on junior devlopment both at professional levell and community too.the lads on academy and scholarship have lost 12 months of devlopment already i hear the vlub are doing what they can with training programmes and zoom meetings and need applauding for that but its not same as been out there.and community levell how many lads and girls wont simpley go back as thay have lost intrest and how many future dtars arw we losing will clubs go under will teams fold due to lack of players who knows.at the end of the day these kids and clubs are the future of our game.

Oh and yes i miss this part of the game more than anything
