You are absolutely correct and in reality I doubt they put anyone at risk. The Covid rules are riddled with levels of ridiculousness that would embarrass a North Korean.
There is so much hypocrisy and faux outrage over Covid it makes you weep. Take the unchallenged BLM protests that did mor to spread Covid than this pin prick ever will. Truth is as a society we don’t have the guts to go after the real villains in all this, we prefer silly meaningless side shows.
However that’s not the point for two reasons. One is the fact that they simply shouldn’t have broken the law and two they most definitely shouldn’t have advertised it.
I hate the use of the phrase ‘roll models’ it’s crass meaningless nonsense imho. They should be condemned simply for being bad citizens. Sadly like it or not if they were procecuted as such I reckon about 10 million would have been arrested that night.
I rarely turn on players but on this occasion as it stands I really don’t want to see some of these players in a Trinity shirt again. Even if they do come round and start to play a bit I honestly feel I will struggle to support them as much as I’d like to.
As for Dave in particular, you could have been a club legend but due to your attitude all the good stuff you did is being forgotten. Either fit in bog off.
