What's wrong with a day out in Featherstone?

| Halifax for me with no doubts whatsoever.
Local. Good supporter base. Good stadium. Lots of local talent.
I like Fev and admire what they have achieved but the Wakefield area struggles to support two tams at pro level let alone three.
London, no, it won’t work.
Toulouse, maybe but it will need a lot of local funding to make it work imo as I believe a second French team should subsidise visiting clubs in terms of travel costs.

| I'd love it to be Fev but sentiment aside, realistically can't see past Beaumont's Leigh, everything is in place there structually and financially he's made no secret of his desire to return to super league, why not.

| Can't see it being Fev although they would be my choice.
As for Tolouse, other than an away trip for those wanting to go, what would they bring to SL?
Another low attendance for our home fixture.
Leigh for me .
Has to be a team with crowd potential and such as Leigh, Halifax, Featherstone, Bradford and even as outsiders York have that so take yer pick...!

The only thing Toulouse would bring is a definite strengthening of the French game. I’m actually all for that but a secondFrench team must be funded by the French themselves.
Two top teams should give them some pull for a deal of there own with Sky and French TV though in all honesty I don’t know how these things work.
York is a good one I’d forgotten about them. So long as they have a good plan in place why not.
Truth is I’d like a 14 strong SL and my choice then would be Toulouse and any two from Halifax/Leigh/York/Fev on that order.

Been saying this for ages...... Agree with Toluouse, not sure about Fax and York.
As for team 12 would say Fev as they lost the play off final.
Although heart says Fev, head says Leigh.

| IMO fairest way to decide would be a three game play off between London and Fev. London didn’t do enough to stay up but Fev didn’t do enough to go up.

| Seems we have been named as one of two clubs who wanted to limit the central funding for whoever gets promoted to £800k, and that they are only likely to get £1m central funding anyway. Pretty ty move from us if true.

Not really, we had to do the same and we survived. We are no longer a charity, Trinity first for me, it’s not like anyone has ever helped us with the possible exception of Leeds.
