Quote: Fishermanscap "Kear definitely but the same mob who were on his back are the same ones after CC.

However, I don't think JK's team of nobodies (again issues outside the coached control) ever dropped as low as we are now. There is more talent in our current second string than JK had in his last season.

Truth is from 2006 to 2009 people were calling for JK to get the freedom of the city, a few years later it was all forgotten. You can see the same now, early 2019 we were kings of the world after a good start to the season and showing Leeds and Hull their own backsides in their own backyards. Go we looked good and full of talent and promise, then it all turned to poo.

For me it's not about blame it's about momentum and Chester has lost it and unlike Fergy I don't think he has either the ability or the resources to get it back.

However like you but unlike many others I hope I'm wrong, I really do and I will live in hope until his sacking actually happens. I'm not optimistic if I'm honest.'"

Kear basically assembled his last squad at Trinity with milk bottle tops and certainly nothing close to a decent SL budget.

On a semi serious note, with Bradford not currently playing, could Trinity approach Kear to work as some kind of "consultant" and actually help Chester get the squad back on the right path.
Most fans seem to think that we have a reasonably good squad.
Perhaps this would be worse than sacking off Chester as it would probably undermine his position but, something needs fixing.
The boat is sinking fast and we need some help.

Quote: upthecats "Think what the other night showed is that there is a togetherness and Chester hasn’t lost the dressing room as some have been saying. When a coach of any sporting team loses a dressing room, they don’t collectively put that amount of effort in.

From the interview in the week where MC joined in its clear he is still backing his coach...not because they’re good mates as people say in here, but because unlike us fans he’s in and around the club on a daily basis and sees first hand the troubles CC is having to continually work against.

Let’s just get behind them for the rest of this season and going into next and see where we are after 6-8 games into the new season.

Was great to see big Dave back too...despite the uneducated on here saying he did nothing, just his presence is huge. He puts fear into opposition and seems to lift the rest of the forwards...CC said it pre match that with Daves inclusion ‘we seemed to grow a leg’ through the week. He’s massively influential to how we play as a unit...I said in another post a few weeks back CC has been continually robbed of his genuine match winners in the likes of Fifita and TJ but if we can get them on the field a bit more we’ll become a better side as they’re not just important individually, they lift their team mates to different levels.'"

Apart from one half break when his offload went to ground, Fifita was a waste of space, as he has been in all the games he has played this season. Before his gps silliness, all he was doing was crabbing across the field to little effect, last night he was at dummy half more than actually being a prop?! He looks like he can't be d........
