Quote: Fishermanscap "Kear definitely but the same mob who were on his back are the same ones after CC.
However, I don't think JK's team of nobodies (again issues outside the coached control) ever dropped as low as we are now. There is more talent in our current second string than JK had in his last season.
Truth is from 2006 to 2009 people were calling for JK to get the freedom of the city, a few years later it was all forgotten. You can see the same now, early 2019 we were kings of the world after a good start to the season and showing Leeds and Hull their own backsides in their own backyards. Go we looked good and full of talent and promise, then it all turned to poo.
For me it's not about blame it's about momentum and Chester has lost it and unlike Fergy I don't think he has either the ability or the resources to get it back.
However like you but unlike many others I hope I'm wrong, I really do and I will live in hope until his sacking actually happens. I'm not optimistic if I'm honest.'"
Kear basically assembled his last squad at Trinity with milk bottle tops and certainly nothing close to a decent SL budget.
On a semi serious note, with Bradford not currently playing, could Trinity approach Kear to work as some kind of "consultant" and actually help Chester get the squad back on the right path.
Most fans seem to think that we have a reasonably good squad.
Perhaps this would be worse than sacking off Chester as it would probably undermine his position but, something needs fixing.
The boat is sinking fast and we need some help.
