| Remember talking to Willy on the training ground whilst taking a break when he played for us. His little lad was with him and I asked him if this was the next generation of player, he said nah, heas going to be a golfer.

Now back to the present. It is my understanding that fitness conditioning and sports science in general has moved on to levels that were never even considered back in the 80's and 90's. Usually people who now make a living it that field are highly trained and have a solid educational background to degree level at least. It is now recognised as a genuine science in its own right.
It is also my understanding that the man who is in this position at our club turned up on the doorstep one day selling mobile phones. Agar saw him and as a favour to an old mate he never sold a phone but walked out of the club with a new job as a conditioner. Other than being a mate of Agar I am not sure what qualifications he has in respect of the job. Again I am only a supporter but the team dosn't look that fit to me, certainly no where near the standard under Evans. I also watch all the other teams on sky and many of those seem miles in front of us in fitness and intensity. Hopefully when we get a new coach the bloke will be given someone new on the conditioning side to help him'"
It does not matter who brought him to the club, what matters is, is he doing a good job the general consensus on here says no, although I'm sure he would not agree, the problem is and I say problem because it would appear that the management don't agree with the fans and must think he's doing a good job otherwise the coach Mr Chester would want rid of him, he clearly thinks he's doing a good job which is why he's still here unless he's working without wages if we can afford to bring in players we don't need which once again Chester clearly thinks we do, then why no new conditioner, tbh I'm past caring whether he stays or goes and that's both of them, I don't need to be a coach or a conditioner to see things aren't right the players are playing with no confidence they're dispirited, clueless and look disinterested why is that? for me it's a lack of confidence in the coach and his staff.

All the deadwood as in? Be interesting on your thoughts as to who these people are, eg certain players or coaching staff.

I losing all interest in the game with the club there's nothing to even get excited about anymore there's no battle in them something has to change and a clean sweep would be the ideal thing, I had stopped criticising players until the Battye loan signing he just don't see him the next level up, Gigot frustrates the hell out of me because he's better then what he's shown us, I maybe wrong but we can't keep on going like this

I'm far from happy with what we've have, but as long as they're employed by the club I'm reluctant to bad mouth them and that's not a criticism at those that do criticise, you pay your money your entitled to an opinion and I've long since stopped trying to alter peoples opinion, but if you try and balance things out sensibly, clearly somethings not right for instance you might have a player who has taken a pay cut to help out and sees Chester signing somebody when the CEO has told him we've no money, don't blame Carter for that he hasn't a clue about players it's the coach that wanted the player/s, most people think Clawson's a waste of time, he might well be but he's there because the coach wants him, again the CEO has to trust his coach, what input does Gilmour provide, there does not seem a lot on offer there to be honest, most of that squad if not all of them are Chester signings, I'm sure most on here can point to the odd individual players they don't want at the club, but if he can't get his players playing for him then somethings not right, so as I said on balance the fault must lie with the coach and his band of helpers, just my opinion, do I want him sacked, I'm afraid that's not my decision it's Carters the question to him should be do you want to be the CEO of a club in the Championship.
