I’m not sure if this will have a big impact. All the players/staff will be having regular swab tests to see if they have the virus, and they will be playing outside the Wakefield area, behind closed doors, until end of September at least.

Said on news this morning that Leicester City will still play their matches despite what is happening in Leicester so they must be happy that the players are isolated ?
Probably staying in a local hotel or something...maybe we could borrow some caravans from our neighbours down at the Jolly Sailor site and isolate our players on the Superbowl car park ???

Wakefield and district's numbers in the reporting period have increased from 3 to 6 so 100% increase. York also quoted as a problem area as they have increased from 0 to 1. You have to ignore percentages and look at the numbers. Recent areas showing significant increases have also undertaken mass testing of specific groups and several have shown asymptomatic infection and been acted upon.

Are the numbers you are quoting pillar 1 or do they include the elusive and much larger pillar 2 numbers that the government appear to withhold.

Is that a fact or just speculation on your part, also will it stop the league restarting on August the 2nd.
