Yeah really good defence and discipline in slightly tricky conditions. Middles ran hard and the likes of Tupou, Atkins and Lyne all having good games in the backs, while Jowitt deservedly got motm at stand off, so a really good team effort for me. Walker didnt have a great game but was getting in the right positions so quite encouraging there too.

A bit off topic, but league Express shows the attendance 3,800. I know most of us on here don’t normally discuss other clubs attendances, but I certainly don’t think there was so many as that figure. Just my opinion of course, but I’m sure others on here,who attended the game may have a different opinion.

Hard to tell.
The main stand was reasonably full and both ends looked similar.
800is in each end and approaching a couple of thousand in the main stand and there's your attendance.
Approaching kick of, there must have been plenty finishing their "prawn sandwiches" though as it looked really empty in the main stand

I thought the ref yesterday especially in the first half, deserves a lot of praise. Consistently let the game flow.

Thought both teams made it easy for the ref. No cheating, no play acting ,just two teams who wanted to try and beat each other by just playing rugby .Not a great game but seen a lot worse .

I wonder where al those Salford fans were who were at Old Trafford not so long back......

Another plus is your spelling is improving as well

Got to be tough with those two on your doorstep. Have a lot of sympathy purely from the amount of potential support we lose to the Rhinos, and if we were kicking off at the same time as LUFC at home that would probably take a few off our gate.

I was being kinda sarcastic. I'm sure it wouldn't be much different for us, or most other clubs apart from the obvious ones. It was a great achievement to get there, and like we have, those 3 or 4 thousand hardcore fans got their reward, maybe one day we can have our day out in the sun, win or lose.

Agree this part of our game looks very bad at the minute
