ITotally agree that it should have been called off. The issue about injuries because it’s wet is exactly that.......... wet !

I really don't know what the RL rules are on the postponement of games but this weather has been forecast for days - not just rain and wind - much more severe. Now for clubs over here, fair enough leave it till the day but I would be a bit annoyed if I was in charge of the Catalans purse and come all this way for it to be called off at the last minute!
As some have said, there will no doubt be financial implications for Trinity too, and it's not as though we will get it back later because the crowd will still probably be low.

I would imagine the obvious problem would not be so much of a safety issue with the wind, but we don't really know that, but more a case of the playing surface being waterlogged and perhaps standing water in the low lying area's of the ground, the point is it's been postponed for a reason, and I don't think the club will be too pleased as well as the fans.

Looking on the bright side if you can put your personal disappointment to one side for a moment, it gives the club another week to get some of the injured players back for next week.

Snowflake generation means the game is called off for no reason. Played in a lot worse than this and without the roofs too.

Watched the Scotland v England RU game yesterday, it absolutely siled it down all the match and the wind was horrendous,non stop throughout the eighty minutes. Kicks were been blown off course, or even at times blown back. They managed to finish the match. worst conditions i have seen since i was at Wembley '68.

I’ve been listening to both London v Whitehaven and Widnes v Batley games on radio this afternoon. Commentators at both games described wind and rain as biblical proportions, just as well they both played on artificial pitches, otherwise both games may well have been abandoned. Seems the correct decision to postpone our game by whoever made that decision.

It's called off for safety reasons. Can't see why that is an issue to any supporter on here.
Huddersfield did the same and they have a much better ground than us.
As has the Man City game..... And they really do have a better stadium.
So I reckon its for good reason.
