| Look it is quite simple, what was at steak here was our precious dimocracy. In 2016 the nation was asked a question, do we want to leave or stay in the EU and there was nothing on the ballot paper about leaving with or without a deal. The people answered the question and this should have been implemented, that's democracy no iffs no butts endof.

| Up to middle 1975 more than 77% of all political parties were working class .Now it's less than 7% you can see why they have lost touch with the working class

| Quote Kettykat="Kettykat"have you had a walk around wakefield town centre, absolute disgrace how it’s been left to go to rack n ruin.Been a labour man all my mining days but I’ve struggle to see what they have brought to wakefield lately .Myself I think this is the backlash from Mary creigh going against the people of wakefield in the brexit vote in parliament.Thats twice they’ve been beat now who’s up for a third vote on brexit .'"
A bit puzzled by this. Who do you think decides how much money Wakefield has to spend in the five town centre's???

| And if like me you walk around many other towns they're in just the same state. Shopping patterns are changing and there isn't enough passing trade to keep many shops alive. Even places like Stratford on Avon have these problems. A lot of the people who complain don't actually spend much in town so shops close. Then there's even less for the people who do actually shop in town. The very nature of town centres is changing. Rent and rate rises are often the killer blow. There's not much any council can do about it.

| Fortunately i live in the Hemsworth constituency....just, which thankfully remains Labour......just! It really does sicken me to see all these posts slamming Jeremy Corbyn , not just as a politician, but as a person. He's a decent, clean living family man who has integrity and honesty for God's sake. Are these people saying that they think a lying, cheating philanderer is a more voteworthy choice? If so, all I can say is this nation is sadly in a very, very bad state.
As for standing by the results of a so-called democratic referendum, have the people forgotten that the majority of Brexit voters voted to leave based on a whole list of lies posted on the side of a double-decker bus. on this issue alone the results of the brexit vote should have bee declared null and void.
As for Johnson all I can say is that if you thought Thatcher was bad then watch out!!!
I was no fan of Mary Creagh, but Wakefield deserves better than this.

| Hopefully, once Brexit has taken place and Boris's one trick pony is over all those that defected from red to blue will have regained their senses after the five year parliamentary period.

Corbyn may or not be a nice chap. But his student union style of politics would have bankrupted the country. I, and obviously millions of other people thought the same, thank god.

| Come on, Wotsup. Do you honestly think that Labour would have carried out all those things that were in the manifesto? If you did you must be very naive. Even more so if you think Johnson will carry out all this 20,000 police and 40 hospitals rubbish. When did any party carry out these pledges? But if Labour had carried out only half of the promises made it will be infinitely more than we're going to get.
When Johnson and the other Chuckle Brother across the pond get their scheming heads together watch out. You'll wish Kim Jon Un was our leader.

| Quote Fishermanscap="Fishermanscap"They used to say people in Wakefield were so stupid that if you painted a Donkey red they would vote for it, do you find that theory acceptable?
Why is it that when things don't go peoples way they claim the other lot didn't read the manifesto properly because one has to assume they are somehow daft. To call that attitude condescending is an understatement, yes mate in the last two never-ending years we've all totally not understood Brexit ect, I mean it's not like anybody's been talking about it is it
Take it on the chin, one side won one side lost and the majority gets what it wants, its called democracy. You can disagree all you like and hell you may be right as regards policy but don't you dare suggest people who voted Tory are stupid, the vast majority knew exactly what they were doing and did so with the best of intentions!'"
If you think I called or inferred anyone was stupid in my comments then you must be stupid! Where did I say that? Get your facts right before you attack me for making a comment, which I think is quite reasonable, judging by the number of people I know, who have voted Tory because of Brexit . When I have asked them about other Tory policies they haven't got a clue! Perhaps you're one of them and I touched a nerve?
I have nothing to take on the chin. I accept democracy.

I obviously wasn't naive because I didn't vote for labour's wishlist as they were either lies or would have bankrupted the country. A lose lose situation

Sorry, but the wishlist you DID vote for will be a pure fairytale as well. I doubt very much that we'll be out of the EU on January 31st also.
