| Quote wrencat1873="wrencat1873"I know that he got injured but Fifita played most of last season and punched plenty of holes in opposition defences, as did Pauli, although he didn't seem to like the defensive side of the game.
The problem last season is that we ran out of fit starting props.'"
Agreed should have said with exception when big Dave was fit..

| Quote RWB="RWB"Personally think Tanginoa was much more effective when he was playing a bit wider was the point i was trying to make. Fast for a big lad as well.
Ashurst, Kirmo, Batch, King, Crowther, Westerman, Arona, Arundel, Tanginoa, Atkins, Aydin, Gwaze - all capable of playing that role. So no still think it's a position where we're not thin on the ground.'"
The second rows in that list are
Ashurst, Kirmond, Batch, Tanginoa.
The rest can cover...... That's not the same.

| Just read our favourite local weekly rag and there is a quote from Chessie saying "I am looking at a top quality signing from the NRL, that'll compliment the side"....sounds promising

| We are going for quantity over quality .Tanginoa as been the best second row player i'v seen at Wakefield for a long time .To play him at prop is a waste

Why is it a waste, he plays like a prop anyway. S long as he's doing what the coach wants hime to do I'm fine with it.

| Would prefer him at second row, with Ashurst/Bachelor, the other, fitness permitting, with Pitts and then Kirmo providing the cover there where needed. Although if Capewell were to come in, then that would change things a bit.
Then the rest of the forwards
Front Row - Fifita, Green, Kopzcak, with cover from Arona and King
LF: Westerman, Crowther, Arona.
For me, need to bolster that front row now

| Last season Kelepi played 10 games at Prop/loose and 5 at second row so he’s already being used more as a prop

| Well, no matter who we prefer in what position, CC will make his own mind up. The point is Pitts is a SL standard player and the squad is building nicely.

I agree with the second sentence. I don't doubt Kelepi can do a job at prop but why you'd move arguably your best player from his best position is daft. Tanginoa caused havoc running wide and he might do well at Prop but I'm not sure it would make us more effective as a team at all as he would at second row. Would be like moving Harry Kane to playing behind the striker instead of being the actual striker or something. You just don't do it. Green, Fifita, Kopzcak, even Arona (if Westerman and Crowther are loose forwards) are decent for your 4 props. I'd say prop is the position we need to sign as our last signing. Would be ecstatic if we could get a decent NRL prop in.

King is the 4th prop for me.
